Description

The US Army Heritage and Education center wishes to purchase a fine arts insurance policy that is all risk and wall to wall that will cover borrowed artifacts and objects while they are in transport to and from the AHEC and while the artifacts and ob jects are being displayed. The insurance policy will cover a variety of historical objects to include but not limited to edged weapons, art, tools, equipment, arms, ordanance, vehicles, uniforms, and cloth items.A firm-fixed price contract is desired with one base year and 4 one year option periods. Quotes will be evaluated utilizing LPTA (lowest-priced, technically acceptable). Award will be made to the vendor whose proposal is the lowest priced and is also technically acceptable.The NAICS code is 524298. The vendor must provide AHEC with a policy that can be expanded with the addition of riders and policy must inlcude a terrorism clause, flood coverage and earthquake coverage for the borrowed artifacts.
