- This Sources Sought Notice is issued for informational and planning purposes only. The Air Mobility Command (AMC) Specialized Contracting Branch is in the process of conducting market research to determine the availability of interested sources capable of providing a maintenance agreement for the Legacy System hardware annual hardware currently in use on the GDSS 2 system. A Draft Performance Work Statement (PWS) is provided herein for review and comment. Request interested offerors capable of performing these functions submit a price and capability statement to the above address on or before November 17, 2006. The information may be sent by email to: naomi.brown-02@scott.af.mil The capability statement should include: (1) A brief description of the company including history and business size (large, small, small disadvantaged, 8(a), HUBZone certified, or woman owned); (2) Description of the supplies and services provided by the company including the North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS); and (3) Identify past and present contracts (including GSA contracts) where similar supplies/services have been/are provided, to include contract number, point of contact with telephone number and company address (including ZIP PLUS FOUR zip code), contract dollar value and type (fixed price, cost-reimbursable, etc.), brief narrative of what supplies/services being provided, and payment arrangements. The page limit for the capability statement is 15 pages. You may also submit a sample of your current commercial contract that identifies your terms and conditions and performance work statement. This request for information is not a commercial solicitation and the Government will not pay for any information submitted, or for any costs associated with providing the information. DRAFT Performance Work Statement (PWS) Global Decision Support System (GDSS) Legacy Hardware Maintenance 1. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES: The contractor is to provide hardware maintenance in support of the GDSS 2 program equipment, which is centrally managed at Scott AFB, IL. 1.1. Maintenance Required: 1.1.1. Advanced Support Renewal for equipment listed at the end of the PWS. 1.2. Deliverables PWS Paragraph Description of Deliverable Frequency 1.1 Report detailing maintenance services performed. Annual support reconciliation NLT 15 September. 2. SERVICE DELIVERY SUMMARY. Performance Objective PWS Para Performance Threshold Ensure required maintenance services are performed. 1.1. Quarterly report of maintenance support provided by the 15th of the months of January, April, July and October 90% of the time. Report accurately lists maintenance performed 95% of the time. 3. GOVERNMENT FURNISHED PROPERTY AND SERVICES The Government will not provide any property or services in support of the tasks covered under this PWS. 4. EQUIPMENT LISTING: Due to continued program development and equipment upgrades, it is probable that some equipment will be added and some equipment will be removed from service during the maintenance coverage period. GDSS 2 shall be able to remove/substitute applicable appliances as needed as long as the total number of appliances supported do not exceed the maximum number purchased by this agreement. 5. GENERAL INFORMATION: 5.1. Period of Performance: The period of performance is to be from 1 Oct 06 to 30 Sep 07. 5.2. Contractor Furnished Items and Services The Contractor shall furnish all services necessary to perform services in support of the tasks covered under this statement of work. 5.3. Place of Performance: The GDSS 2 program equipment is centrally managed by the program configuration management team located at 859 Buchanan Street, Scott AFB, IL 62225-5116. However, some of the equipment is located elsewhere, i.e., Travis AFB, CA ? see listing below. Appendix A. Site ID?s 5.4. Authorized Personnel The following is a list points of points of contact (POCs) for the GDSS 2 program who are authorized to place maintenance calls at which time they will provide exact location of equipment.
