Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs VISN 1 facilities located in the states of Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut and Rhode Island desires to establish medical Cylinder Gases Contracts. This action is NOT for the purchase of bulk oxygen or home health gas mixtures. The Contract Medical Gas Cylinders will be ordered by, and delivered to, the individual facilities listed above. The gases to be purchased include, but are not limited to, compressed medical air USP, oxygen USP,nitrogen NF, nitrous oxide USP, helium USP, and specialty medical gas mixtures. Cylinders may either be rented from the contractor or will be VA owned to be filled by the Contractor. This will be an unrestricted solicitation. Due to the geographic area, multiple awards may be considered. The contract awarded under this solicitation will be in effect from January 1, 2007 through December 31, 2007 plus four (4) one-year options. All questions shall be submitted via e-mail to Susanne.Rybczyk2@med.va.gov or to Janice.Porter@med.va.gov. It is anticipated that solicitation documents will be available o/o/b November 24, 2006
