Description

Market survey/sources sought for firms that are capable of performing the obsolescence tracking and redesign of the obsolete Automated Computer Unit (ACU), NSN 7021-01-440-2127 and PNs 6125100 (ordnance number 12979825) of the M109A6 Self-Propelled H owitzer. The ACU is the older generation of the current Paladin digital fire control system. Any redesign/retesting of the ACU will be in accordance with Performance Specification 2979825. The proposed requirement will be a five year Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ). The limited number of circuit cards to be produced will be to maintain the fleet with the older equipment until they are retrofitted with the current Paladin fire control system. Firms that recognize and can track the ACU obsole scence issues and redesign and/or upgrade the unit are encouraged to identify themselves to the contract specialist or contracting office and indicate if the firm is large, small, small disadvantage.
