- THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT, A MARKET SURVEY FOR WRITTEN INFORMATION ONLY. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION ANNOUNCEMENT FOR PROPOSALS AND NO CONTRACT WILL BE AWARDED FROM THIS ANNOUNCEMENT. NO REIMBURSEMENT WILL BE MADE FOR ANY COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH PROVIDING INFORMATION IN RESPONSE TO THIS ANNOUNCEMENT OR ANY FOLLOW-UP INFORMATION REQUESTS. NO TELEPHONE CALLS WILL BE ACCEPTED REQUESTING A BID PACKAGE OR SOLICITATION. THERE IS NO BID PACKAGE OR SOLICITATION. IN ORDER TO PROTECT THE PROCUREMENT INTEGRITY OF ANY FUTURE PROCUREMENT, IF ANY, THAT MAY ARISE FROM THIS ANNOUNCEMENT, INFORMATION REGARDING THE TECHNICAL POINT OF CONTACT WILL NOT BE GIVEN AND NO APPOINTMENTS FOR PRESENTATIONS WILL BE MADE. Naval Facilities Engineering Command - Southwest is seeking sources with current relevant qualifications, experience, personnel, and capability to perform a five year contract that provides roofing repair and maintenance services including fa?ade studies. Performance will be at Naval Air Station, North Island, CA. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 238160, Roofing System and the Small Business Size Standard is $13M. The contract will have an estimated value of $5,000,000. Interested sources are invited to respond to this sources sought announcement by providing, at a MINIMUM, the following: 1) Firm?s ISO 9001:2000 Certification for Roofing System that provides both manufacturing materials/supplies and services for building maintenances and services. 2) An interactive on-line database that shows drawings of Buildings, pictures of the roofs, with the capability to make recommendations with estimated cost to repair or replace the roof, including the system's assessment criteria to roofing conditions (e.g. Green- Life expectancy of 7 or more years, Amber- Life expectancy of between 4 and 6 years and Red- Life expectancy of 3 or less years.). 3) A 20-year roofing warranty. 4) A 24-hour emergency response to leaks. 5) A full life cycle roofing system that provides facility management services, HVAC repair and maintenance, parking garage/fa?ade/other maintenance, general contracting, roofing moisture and core analysis, roof repair, and preventive maintenance, and performance contracting. 6) Experience: Briefly describe the Government or Commercial contracts your firm has completed in the last 5 years showing experience in performing fa?ade study and roofing repair and maintenance services. Provide the contract value, type of contract; and period of performance; with a narrative description of the product/services provided by your firm. 7) Contractors shall specify if they have experience in the following types of Government facilities and/or similar commercial facilities: Administration, hangar, bachelor enlisted quarter/bachelor officer quarters, recreational, medical/dental, religious, dining, consolidated clubs, and child development centers. 8) Identify whether your firm is a qualified 8 (a), HubZone, or Small Disadvantaged, Small Business. However, EFDSW-SD will utilize the information for technical and acquisition planning. All data received in response to this Source Sought Notice marked or designated, as corporate or proprietary information will be fully protected from release outside the government.
