Description: Design and fabricate a Variable Speed Fan System, consisting of three identical fans, motors, variable speed drive (VSD) units, vibration monitoring and a control PLC. Fans shall be 140 lb/sec at 48 in-wg presssure rise (total flow with all three fans operating in parallel is 420 lb/sec). Motors shall be 1250 hp, 1800 rpm, 4160 volts, 3-phase, 60 Hz, class F insulation, and service factor of 1.15. Variable speed drive units shall be 6900 volts, 3-phase, 60 Hz input power. Delivery shall be FOB Arnold AFB, TN. The complete request for proposal will be uploaded at this site in the near future.
