Description

The VA Western New York Healthcare System, Batavia facility, has a requirement for service maintenance on its Andover Controls based energy management and control system for Ward D, Former ICU area on C Ward, Pharmacy and MAS. The facility is located at 222 Richmond Ave., Batavia, New York, 14020. All equipment, which would be required to maintain operation of the Direct Digital Control (DDC) system for the project, is stocked locally and is immediately available in the event of a failure. A spare or loaner piece of equipment shall be installed immediately should a failure occur in any controller that would require repair by the manufacturer. The contractor shall provide qualified personnel, equipment, supplies, and material to accomplish, promptly and satisfactory, all work required under this preventive maintenance agreement. The VA shall be advised, in writing, of the designated service representative from the contractor. This requirement is being solicited as a small business set-aside. The NAICS code is 811219, with a small business size standard of $6.5 million. All proposals must be submitted to the Contracting Officer by 3:30pm on Friday, December 1, 2006.
