Description

The General Services Administration?s Federal Technology Service, Region 5 Chicago, on behalf of the U.S. Air Force Electronic Systems Center (ESC) 642d Electronic Systems Squadron (ELSS) at Hanscom Air Force Base, intends to issue a Request for Proposals to supply and install an Automated Installation Entry Control System (AIECS) at approximately 42 Air Force installations and a Visitor Center Enrollment System (VCES) at approximately 82 Air Force installations in the Continental United States (CONUS). The anticipated Period of Performance is twelve (12) months. It is anticipated that full and open competition will be solicited. The estimated date for release of a solicitation is November 15, 2006. Proposals will be due approximately 30 calendar days after a solicitation is issued. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. Copies of the solicitation will only be posted on FEDBIZOPPS. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (01-NOV-2006); HOWEVER, IT DID APPEAR IN THE FEDBIZOPPS FTP FEED ON THIS DATE.
