Description

The U. S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command/Army Forces Strategic Command (SMDC/ARSTRAT) is planning to negotiate with Alabama A&M University of Huntsville, Alabama on a sole source basis for the effort entitled, Missile Technology Practical Exp erience. Under this six month contract A&M will be required to develop concepts for cruise missile defense which spans the future and to evaluate different artificial intelligence packages for application to the specific needs of a Technical Interoperabili ty and Matrix Center (TIM Center) technology program . This work requires that science and engineering be used to develop technology ideas that have not yet been developed or to use current technologies in new, unique ways to meet future requirements. Per iod of performance for this effort will be six month. See note 22.
