Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This project involves the supply and design of four dis placement blower packages to Lock and Dam #2 in Hastings MN 55033-1145. (i) This is a combined synopsis/ solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 12.6, and supplemental information included i n this notice. This announcement constitutes the solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) The reference number for this effort is W912ES-07-T-0010 and the solicitation is issued as a request f or quotation (RFQ). (iii) The provisions and clauses incorporated into this solicitation document are those in effect at the time of publication. Provisions and clauses incorporated by reference have the same force and effect as if they were given in full text. The full text of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations supplement (DFARs) can be accessed on the Internet at http://farsite.hill.af.mil/ (iv) This is 100% Set-Aside for Service Disabl ed Owned Small Business competition with a relevant North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS)332999 Less than 500 employees (v) CLIN 0001 This job will include the furnishing of the air blowers for Lock 2 complete with all necessary equipment and accessories. The air blowers will be installed by Army Corp of Engineers Personnel. A total of 4 complete air blower assemblies are required to be furnished. This is FOB: destination.
