- COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION Paragraph vi is amended to read "delivery is requested no later than 120 days after receipt of order. Hydraulic Squaring Shear (i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial item prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) This solicitation is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). Submit written quotes (oral quotes will not be accepted) on RFQ reference number FE462662500024. (iii) This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-13. (iv) This procurement is being issued as a 100% small business set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 333512 with a small business size standard of 500 employees. (v) This combined synopsis and solicitation is for the purchase of non-personal services to purchase one Hydraulic Squaring Shear for the Malmstrom AFB 341 Civil Engineering Squadron with the following requirements: CLIN 0001: (1 EA.) Non-personal service to purchase one Hydraulic Squaring Shear with the capability to cut 1/2" metal material, with a PSI of 80,000, a back gauge range of 0"- 40", allowing a 12' sheet to be sheared into three sections. Wrenchless adjustments for material thickness, an optional sheet support device, pneumatically operated device supports light gauge material while cutting, and a programmable multi-function back gauge. (vi) Delivery requested no later than 5 days after receipt of order. FOB: Destination, at: 341 Civil Engineering Squadron, 105 80th Street North, Malmstrom Air Force Base, Montana 59402-7546. (vii) The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors--Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. (viii) Quotes will be evaluated on price, price related factors and ability to meet specifications and delivery. (x) The clause at FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, applies to this solicitation. (xiv) All firms or individuals responding must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR), http://www.ccr.gov/. The Government will award on an all or none basis. (xv) Quotes are required to be received no later than 2:00 PM MST, Thursday, 26 Oct 2006.
