Description

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS), Atlanta, GA, has an annual requirement for furnishing and delivering "closed formula fish food diet" to various fish hatcheries located in Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee. This will be a "best value" procurement based on factors which will be contained in the solicitation. Technical factor will be significantly more important than price. This procurement may be awarded as a single or multiple awards. This solicitation can be viewed thru a link to the National Business Center Interior Electronic Acquisition System-Electronic Commerce at http://www.fedbizipps.gov. or http://www.ideasecnbc.gov. The solicitation tentative issued date is November 13, 2006; estimated quantities will be shown in the RFP. Actual quantities will be purchased by issuance of delivery order against the contract. The contract period will be one year from date of award. Date of award is estimated to be on or about January 15, 2007. CAUTION: This Request for Proposal will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Thus, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidder's mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to obtain any amendments which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendment and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for proposal receipts may render your offer non-responsive and result in the rejection of same. All prospective contractors are required be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and to submit or upload their organization representations and certifications at https://orca.bpn.gov prior to submitting your offer, failure to do so will render your offer non-responsive.
