Description

Requirements are issued as a 100% HUBZone Set-Aside solicitation for four items to be awarded as a 5 year, Firm Fixed Price, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract. The four items are components of the Chemical Biological Protective Shelte r (CBPS). The Ambulatory Doors, 5-4-7029 consist of two separate doors, an inner and outer door. They are installed in the Airlock Supply Assembly of the CBPS. The doors will be required to be painted either tan or green. The basic design is an oval op ening, 5 ft. long by 3 ft. wide. The door is skinned with a woven fiberglass fabric coated on one side with a fluoropolymer and is heat sealable below 550 F. The door coated fabric has a plastic window and stencil plate and the outer door has vent holes with a removable covering. The aluminum door frame is painted with a chemical agent resistant coating (CARC) paint. A bell timer is installed on the inner door assembly. Other hardware installed includes door handles, hinges, gasket, spacers, springs, r ivets, washers and Velcro. The items to be procured are: CLIN 0001: Tent Door, NSN: 8340-01-490-9655, P/N: 5-4-7029-1. This CLIN has a guaranteed minimum of 18 each. Total estimated quantity over 5 years is 47 each with a contract maximum of 50 each. CLIN 0002: Tent Door, NSN: 8340-01-490-9657, P/N: 5-4-7029-2. There is no guaranteed minimum quantity for this CLIN. Total estimated quantity over 5 years is 0 each with a contract maximum of 50 each. CLIN 0003: Tent Door, NSN: 8340-01-490-5370, P/N: 5-4 -7029-3. This CLIN has a guaranteed minimum of 43 each. Total estimated quantity over 5 years is 77 each with a contract maximum of 100 each. CLIN 0004: Tent Door, NSN: 8340-01-490-9656, P/N: 5-4-7029-4. There is no guaranteed minimum quantity for this CLIN. Total estimated quantity over 5 years is 0 each with a contract maximum of 50 each. First Article Testing is required. FOB is Destination. Estimated ordering periods will be from award date through 31 March 2012. Estimated solicitation issue da te is 07 Nov 2006. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.501 and 5.102(a) (7) and 14.205-1(c), therefore, hardcopies will not be provided. This solicitation incorporates a Technical Data Package (TDP) that cannot be provided vi a the internet. Vendors who need this TDP in order to prepare a proposal are instructed to request same by submission of an email request to: tacom-ri-tdp@ria.army.mil. Any said request should contain the following information; Cage Code (if available), Company Name, Point of Contact (optional), Street Address, City, State, Zip Code, Telephone Number.
