- This FEDERAL BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY announcement is a notice that TRICARE Heartland Region (Region 5) that include all DOD Medical Treatment Facilities (MTFs) in the states of Ohio, Kentucky,and Illinois are in the process of standardizing Anti-Embolism Stockings/Compression Hosiery as listed in the subject line above. Companies must obtain, or be in the process of obtaining, a Distribution and Pricing Agreements (DAPAs) with the Defense Supply Center Philadelphia for these items to be eligible to participate in the standardization process. Please respond by Email: phyllis.targett@wpafb.af.mil and provide your company name, address, point of contact, telephone, fax and E-mail address and answers to the below listed questions no later than 21 days from the posting date. For questions, please call (937)257-9075. Technical Criteria 1. Does your company manufacture and/or distribute graduated compression anti-embolism stockings in a full line of sizes and lengths? 2. Are your products available through the Prime Vendor, Owens & Minor? 4. What is your DAPA Number? 5. Under what brand(s) does your company manufacture or distribute your product? 6. Are your products latex free? 7. Under what standards is your product manufactured? 8. What types of anti-embolism stockings does your company manufacture? 9. What is the range of compression of your product? 10. Are your products washable? What is the recommended method of drying your product after washing? 11. Does your company recommend ambulating while wearing your product? 12. Does your product come with patient instructions in the package for donning? If so in what languages are they available? 13. What sizes do your stockings come in? Are they color coded by size? 14. Does your company provide a measuring device and size chart for your product? 15. What types of educational tools or materials do you have for this product line? 16. What kind of staff training does your company provide? 17. Does your company provide customer service 24/7? 18.
