- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a Request for Quote is being issued by GovWorks under the Department of the Interior Franchise Fund on behalf of Navy US Atlantic Fleet. The procurement and resultant contract administration as well as payment of invoices will be handled by GovWorks. GovWorks is a Federal Franchise Fund Contracting Office under the authority of the Government Management Reform Act and provides contracting support to all Federal civilian and DoD Agencies. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-13, Effective 28 Sep 2006. The proposed award is 100% set aside for small business concerns. Business size will be verified using CCR. NAICS: 314912. NAICS U.S. industry title: Canvas and Related Product Mills Size Standard: 500 employees A quote for the Following product and service is requested: Title: Canopy System and Installation Contractor shall provide materials and installation service to install Shadetree canopy systems on three courtyard decks located at buildings NH4, NH3 and NH1. Canopies are to be mounted on contractor provided and installed: 1. 4?x 4?wood beam structures, stained to match existing wood decks, with chamfered ends as identified by Shadetree Canopies. 2. Or, using the Greenbrier vinyl canopy system. The installed canopy system is to use the Shadetree series B fabric: Forest Green Specifications: 1. 2 ea. 18? x 7?6? Canopy Systems each using a. 1, 60? Canopy b. 2, 46? canopies 2. 2 ea. 24? x 8?4? Canopy System each using a. 2, 60? canopies b. 3, 46? canopies 3. 1, 30? x 9? Canopy System using a. 6, 60? canopies Contractor must verify dimensions and locations with customer. Note: All items may be quoted as Brand Name Or Equal. All deliveries under this order will be FBO Destination and work will begin 5 weeks from contract date. The proposed delivery address is as follows: United States Fleet Forces Command 1562 Mitscher Ave. Suite 250 Norfolk, VA. 23551 The following provisions and clauses apply to this acquisition: 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items; 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items. Evaluation will be performed using the Lowest Price Technical Acceptable Quote. 52.212-3 -- Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items. Note: quoters shall complete only paragraph (k) of this provision if the offeror has completed the annual representations and certificates electronically at http://orca.bpn.gov. 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items including the following addenda: GovPay Electronic Invoicing Requirements: All payment requests must be submitted electronically through GovPay. "Payment request" means any request for contract financing payment or invoice payment by a contractor.
