- Description
- The purpose of this amendment is to incorporate the below questions and responses. Question: Is the figure of 50,000 lines for each qualified newspaper within the 92 judicial districts capable of delivering the announcements to the target audience, or is the requested cost of 50,000 lines total of all qualified newspapers combined for a single week of advertising? Answer: The 50,000 lines is the ATF estimate for a 12 month period for all seized property. Question: Based on the answer to the above question, confirm that when advertisements are distributed to the qualified target newspapers, advertisements will be published at least once weekly for coverage in each of the 92 judicial districts at the same time with the same advertisement? Answer: Yes. The ad must run once a week for three consecutive weeks. Question: Because qualified newspapers are based on a certain number of PAID subscribers receiving the newspapers, does this mean that only one qualified newspaper within the targeted judicial district in which the seizure proceeding is brought can be utilized? Answer. Any qualified newspaper that meets the legal requirement can be used. Question: Or can the advertisement be published in more than one (1) qualified newspaper at the same publishing period that might overlap geographical coverage and/or reach of target markets such as a multi-city local newspaper vs competing multi-city local newspaper or multi-city vs a state wide newspaper? Answer: Yes. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (12-OCT-2006); HOWEVER, IT DID APPEAR IN THE FEDBIZOPPS FTP FEED ON THIS DATE.
