Description

The US Army Corps of Engineers, Portland District, intends to solicit and award a firm-fixed price supply contract to provide two lift gate friction drums bearing assembly sets at the John Day Lock and Dam. The Contractor shall provide, package and deliver two complete replacement sets for the bearing assemblies, including housings, for the wire rope friction drums for the downstream gate of the John Day Dam navigation lock. This procurement will be conducted as an unrestricted acquisition to all re sponsible parties. The John Day Project is located on the Columbia River, approximately 109 miles East of Portland, OR, on I-84. This solicitation package will be issued in electronic format only on FedTeds at https://www.fedteds.gov/fedteds/start.nsf/frm .VendorLogin?OpenForm&SolicitationNumber on or about October 18th 2006 with proposals due on or about November 1st 2006.
