Description

The Office of Personnel Management (OPM), Washington, D.C., requires security guard services at an off-site center located at 4685 Log Cabin Drive, Macon, Georgia. The OPM Contracting Group anticipates issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) on or about October 6, 2006. The performance period should begin November 1, 2006 through October 31, 2007 with four 12-month option periods. The resultant award will be a fixed-price Indefinite-Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) contract. The contractor shall provide management, supervision, fully trained and physically fit personnel, equipment and supplies necessary to provide professional armed guard services. A site visit, if requested, will be available October 13, 2006, 9:00 AM EST. The site visit may be coordinated by contacting the individual listed below by email not later than 9:00 AM EST, October 12, 2006. The projected solicitation issue date is October 6, 2006 with offers due October 18, 2006. These dates are estimates only. The solicitation will specify the actual date and time for receipt of offers. The North American Industry Classification System code is 561612; the small business size standard is $11.5M. This requirement is set-aside 100% for Small Business. Upon release to the public, the solicitation and any amendments will only be available through FedBizOpps. All prospective contractors are responsible for obtaining the solicitation and any amendments.
