Description

The contractor is to provide all management, supervision, labor, tools, materials and equipment as required for a complete and operational space as detailed in the plans and specifications that will be sent as part of the bid package. Work includes architectural, electrical and mechanical. The contractor will provide space alterations at the IRS office located at 210 Tower Park Drive, Waterloo, Iowa. The total square footage to be altered is 4800 square feet. Work is to be completed 30 days after receipt of the "Notice to Proceed". Estimated cost is $25,000 to $75,000. Respond by e-mail to cynthia.tabor@gsa.gov NO LATER THAN October 16, 2006, with the company name, contact person, address, phone number, fax number and DUNS number, if you are interested in bidding this project. Bid packages will be mailed on October 17, 2006. The bid package and plans will be sent to you on a disc unless you request a hard copy. THIS REQUEST FOR SOLICITATION DOES NOT OBLIGATE THE GOVERNMENT TO MAKE AN AWARD. According to FAR 4.11 ALL contractors MUST be registered with the Central Contractor Registration [CCR] at www.ccr.gov. All contractors MUST also be registered with Online Representations and Certifications [ORCA] at https://orca.bpn.gov/, before accepting the bid package. GSA security clearances will be required. There will be a site visit of the project before the bid due date. This date will be listed in the bid package information.
