Description
TITLE: Air Refueling Complementary Capabilities_Part B ASSESSMENT VIRTUAL FEEDBACK TO INDUSTRY REFERENCE: FBO SOLICITATION_KC-135-RTA-KC-X-RFI The Air Force has completed an assessment of industry responses to the Request for Information (RFI) entitled KC-135 Tanker Replacement Program (KC-X) and Complementary Capabilities Part B issued 25 April 2006. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT PERTAINS ONLY TO AERIAL REFUELING CAPABILITIES SUBMITTED UNDER PART B of the REFERENCED RFI. Only companies that submitted a response to the Air Force for Part B Aerial Refueling of the RFI (NOT pertaining to aircraft modifications of the KC-135E) are invited to participate in a virtual feedback session for industry respondents. The virtual session will provide responders information on the Air Force RFI response assessment process and individual assessment charts of their specific capability approach responses. All Part B RFI respondents will have the opportunity to participate in one of two virtual information feedback sessions scheduled for 12 October 2006 from 3-5pm (EDT) and 17 October from 12:30- 2:30pm (EDT). All Part B RFI respondents interested in participating in one of the two feedback sessions must register No Later Than 10 October 06 by sending an email with the date of the preferred session to all the points of contact listed below. A teleconference number and exact time of the feedback session will be emailed to all registered participants prior to the scheduled date. Several days prior to the selected virtual feedback session, the Air Force will email PowerPoint charts to each respondent for the overall Air Force assessment and the assessment of the capability of their approach. All company proprietary caveats will be observed. After each respondent has received the charts, the Air Force will accept questions via e-mail. General questions will be addressed at the virtual session. Specific assessment result questions for an individual company will be discussed off-line with each respondent.
