- Description
- The Federal Law Enforcement Training Center intends to enter into a Contract for 1,584 Embroidered sport backpacks with leather bottom, heavy duty 600 denier polyester with vinyl backing, color - black, size - 171/2"x13"1/2x7, padded straps, double headed zipper closure, outrside pockets, two zippered front pockets, one zippered side pocket. Contractor is required to store the backpacks with agency logo embroidered on them and then ebroider class number on backpacks and issue class by class as requested by the customer. Point of contact will provide vendor the number of backpacks and class number eight (8) days prior to date bags are required. The backpacks are to be delivered to Townhouse 390C, Room 209, FLETC, Glynco, GA. Bags have warranty for the length of the class. Contractor will fix or replace the bag within 48 hours. This synopsis is a notice of intent to award under full and open competition and should be viewed as a request for competitive proposals. All responses received by the date identified above will be considered by the Government.The following provisions in their latest editions will apply to the solicitation: FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors, Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-3, Offerors Representations and Certifications ? Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions ? Commercial Items with addendum that the Government will not pay taxes where an exemption applies; FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders ? Commercial Items. The following additional clauses therein apply: 52.222-21, 52.222-26, 52.222-35, 52.222-36, 52.222-37, 52.232-33, Payment by Electronic Funds Transfer ? Central Contractor Registration. All potential contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration System. Registration must be done immediately upon retrieval of this synopsis in order to be considered for award.
