Description

In accordance with the procedures specified in the revised OMB Circular A-76 of May 29, 2003 and OMB Memorandum M-06-13 of April 24, 2006 this notification represents the formal public announcement and official start date of a STREAMLINED COMPETITION for Data Center Systems Management, Installation, and Network Monitoring Services in support of the United States Census Bureau, Computer Services Division, located at the Maryland Science and Technology Center, 17101 Melford Blvd., Bowie, Maryland. These services are currently being performed by a combination of Government personnel and Contractors including Hewlit Packard, Sun, Trantech, Infotech, DLT Solutions, and Immix Technology. The number of Government personnel currently performing these services is 23 Full Time Equivalents (FTYEs). NO SOLICITATION IS ANTICIPATED AND PROPOSALS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Cost of private sector performance will be determined by conducting market research. The Competitive Sourcing Official (CSO) is Theodore A. Johnson, the Agency Tender Official (ATO) is Richard W. Swartz, and the Contracting Officer is William H. Russell. The projected end date for this competition is February 9, 2007.
