Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a combined synopsis and solicitation for the following commercial items: CLIN 0001: Tractor, full tracked, diesel engine, with 6 way blade and ripper attachment. Caterpillar mode l D6R Series III or equal with the following standard equipment and specifications. (1) Electrical System - 24 volt system with 2 each maintenance free batteries; Backup alarm; 95 amp alternator; 12 volt , 10 amp converter with two power outlets; diagn ostic connector; forward warning horn. (2) Operators Station - under hood air conditioner; sound suppressed ROPS/FOPS cab; differential steering control with touch shift; electronic distance travel indicator; monitoring system for the temperature of t he coolant, hydraulic and power train fluids, fuel level, tachometer, odometer, gear indicator; and diagnostics; dash foot pads; heater; electronic hourmeter; rearview mirror; decelerator pedal; pilot operated hydraulic controls with electronic deactivatio n switch; adjustable seat with adjustable armrests; 3 inch wide retractable seat belt; electronic throttle switch; intermittent wipers. (3) Power Train  Diesel engine with Electronic Unit Injection (EUI), minimum of 213 hp gross power/ 185 hp net power a t 1,850 rpm; Advanced Modular Cooling system; air to air after cooler; air cleaner, pre-cleaner with strata tube dust ejector; air filter with electronic service indicator; extended life coolant; Electronically controlled powershift transmission with 3 for ward and 3 reverse speeds; direct drive blower fan; 3-plantet single reduction planetary final drives; electric fuel priming pump; muffler with mitered stack; electronic parking brake; prescreener; controlled throttle, load compensating automatic direction al and downshift of shift management; automatic ether starting aid; torque divider; waste-gate turbocharger; water separator. (4) Undercarriage  XL, XW, and LGP carrier rollers; heavy duty equalizer bar; center track guiding guards; end guiding guards; ce nter tread, lifetime lubricated idlers; replaceable sprocket rim segments; hydraulic track adjusters; tubular track roller frames; moderate service track system; hinged bottom guards. (5) Manuals  parts, operators, and service, (parts and service can be o n CD-ROM). (6) Sampling Ports  engine oil, power train oil, hydraulic oil, and engine coolant. (7) Hydraulic Pump  Pump capacity- 1001 psi; out put-57.3 gal/min; lift cylinder flow-50.2 gal/min; tilt cylinder flow-21.1 gal/min; ripper cylinder flow - 4 2.3 gal/min. (8) Hydraulic oil cooler. (9) Cooling systems must be capable of maintaining operating temperatures of the equipment in climates of 110 degrees F. Prices must include shipping cost to Accountable Property Officer; Building 5464; Dugway UT 8 4022-5000 (FOB: Destination). This solicitation is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). Submit written offers (oral offers will not be accepted), on RFQ W911S6-06-T-0163 for a firm-fixed priced amount. All firms or individuals responding must be register ed with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR). North American Industrial Classification Standard 33911 applies to this procurement.
