- This is a notice of intent of the Acquisition Management Service, Cleveland VA Medical Center, Cleveland, Ohio to negotiate a SOLE SOURCE contract with Howard Computers for preventative maintenance and remedial maintenance services on fifty-three (53) each BCMA Medical Carts. The BCMA Medical Cart has a laptop integrated with a locking system which must be maintained so that healthcare providers at the Cleveland VAMC are able to access the correct medication and also the correct quantity of medication. NAICS Code is 811219 with a size standard of $6.5 million. The period of performance for this preventative maintenance and remedial maintenance service is October 1, 2006 through September 30, 2007. This procurement is being conducted under the authority FAR 6.302-1. The government believes that only one responsible source can provide the services that will satisfy the agency requirements. Other persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement by September 28, 2006. A determination by the Contracting Officer not to compete this proposed action based on responses to this notices and to negotiate a SOLE SOURCE contract with Howard Computers is solely within the discretion of the Contracting Officer. All inquiries must be submitted in writing; telephone inquiries will not be accepted, nor responses received after September 29, 2006.
