Description

The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office intends to award a sole source contract in accordance with FAR 6.301-1 - Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Elsevier Science, Inc., 360 Park Avenue South, 8th Floor, New York, NY 10010-1710 is the only known source that can continue to provide the required Elsevier ScienceDirect Online subscription service Renewal for the WEB based product via IP address authentication. The USPTO is extending the contract for a base and 2 option years for continued access to the proprietary Elsevier ScienceDirect Online subscription service. The USPTO intends to issue a modification for the firm fixed price commercial items in accordance with Simplified Acquisition Procedures, FAR Part 12 and the Test Program at FAR subpart 13.5. No solicitation document exists.
