Description

The Fleet & Industrial Supply Center, Puget Sound is soliciting for a firm fixed price supply type contract to be negotiated on a small business set aside basis for a sectional barge that will be used as a water-borne work platform, in support of Naval Intermediate Maintenance Facility, Bangor. Detailed information and specifications will be included in the solicitation data. Delivery is estimated to be 120 days after contract award. The commercial solicitation, N00406-06-T-1482, will be issued on or around 15 September 2006 with a closing date of on or around 21 September 2006. Proposed contract to be procured using commercial Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with FAR Part 12 and 13.5. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal or quotation which shall be considered by FISCPS. This solicitation and any subsequent amendments will be posted to the NECO website: http://www.neco.navy.mil. Prospective offerors are responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation from this website and for frequently monitoring that site for any amendments. The Government is not responsible for any inability of the offeror to access the posted documents.
