Description

This is a notice of intent to issue an order to Eaton Powerware Quality Corp DBA Powerware, 8609 Six Forks RD, Raleigh, MC 27615-2966 on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only one Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Serv ices will Satisfy Agency Requirements, and 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1). The proposed procurement is for Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) System. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit quotes. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely with the discretion of the Government. Information received will n ormally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Eaton Powerware Quality Corp DBA Powerware is the manufacturer and sole provider of their proprietary Powerware 9390 80/80 kVA reverse transfer Unint erruptible Power Supply (UPS) System with paralleling capability into the newly constructed 504th MI SCIF facility on West Fort Hood. This UPS System and associated products and installation are unique in the industry and are used throughout the U.S. Army including Directorate of Public Works (DPW).
