Description

The National Library of Medicine (NLM) of the National Institutes of Health (NIH) proposes to procure from Conveyant Systems Inc., 1901 Carnegie Avenue, Suite 1, Santa Anna CA 92705. The requirement consists of the acquisition of software end user licenses and support for tele-directory for operator services The Period of Performance for maintenance and support is an annual renewable period of 12 months. It runs from September 29, 2006, through September 28, 2007. This acquisition is less than the Simplified threshold. Maintenance and support will be performed under the end user license agreement. Conveyant Systems Inc. is the only party known to NIH that can meet the above requirements for the existing network/system. A Sole Source is warranted to maintain the continuity of the environment, avoid service disruptions, and provide the best value to the government. This is not a solicitation for competitive proposals. However, if any other interested party believes that it can meet the requirements it may submit a statement of capabilities. The capability statement and any other information furnished must be in writing, and must contain material in sufficient detail to allow NIH to determine if the party can meet all of the foregoing requirements. Offers must also be accompanied by descriptive literature, warranties, and/or other information that demonstrates that the offer meets all of the foregoing requirements. Capability statements and related materials must be received in this office by 4:00 p.m. EST on the closing date of this announcement.
