- The Social Security Administration (SSA) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Bamboo Solutions Corporation, 11417 Sunset Hills Road, Reston, Virginia 20190, to supply professional services for continued data preparation for import into the SSA Drawing Information Management System. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, ?Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements?. Bamboo Solutions Corporation is the developer and programmer of the Digital Information Management System. Bamboo Solutions Corporation is the sole provider of support for WD3 and CAD Trak. The products are the only ones of their kind available to SSA for electronically managing SSA building data in the Microsoft Windows Environment with enhanced data security SSA Shared Hosting Environment (SHE). Interested parties that feel they can provide these services may respond by submitting their capability statements by email to Kim.Clark@ssa.gov by September 13, 2006. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. THIS NOTICE DOES NOT CONSTITUTE A SOLICITATION FOR OFFERS. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received by the cutoff date (September 13, 2006), the SSA will proceed with sole source negotiations with Bamboo Solutions Corporation. Again, all questions and submissions in response to this notice must be submitted in writing to the e-mail address listed above. Telephone calls regarding this matter will not be accepted, nor will they be returned.
