- The purpose of this Modification (#02) is to post questions that were presented by prospective Offerors and provide answers provided by the Customer. Please see below: Questions from Prospective Offerors RFP# W74V8H-06-R-0066 Marketing, Duplication, Production and Distribution of Videos and DVDs for Soldiers Radio and Television (SRTV) QUESTION 1: Please be more specific about the responsibilities that fall under video production. ANSWER: THE VIDEO PRODUCTION RESPONSIBILITIES INVOLVE THE OPERATION OF AN IKEGAMI DMS 201 CAMERA, FIELD LIGHTING, AVID EDITING AND JOURNALISM QUESTION 2: How often will the news reporter produce VNRs and other videos? ANSWER: DAILY AND/OR AS ASSIGNED QUESTION 3: How do you feel about teaming? Since there are several aspects to your proposal, I wonder if it would be okay for me to include another small business that has expertise in one of the areas you are seeking. ANSWER: THE 8(A) CONTRACTOR MAY TEAM WITH ANOTHER CONTRACTOR QUESTION 4: Is there an incumbent contractor? If yes, who is it? ANSWER: THE INCUMBENT WAS LOUMAR, MIAMI, FLORIDA QUESTION 5: Is the Government satisfied with the contract performance now ANSWER: WE CANNOT ANSWER THIS QUESTION AS IT WOULD CONSTITUTE A PAST PERFORMANCE EVALUATION OF THE PAST CONTRACTOR QUESTION 6: I did not see closed capturing addressed in the PWS - do we need more information? ANSWER: PROGRAMMING MUST BE 508 COMPLIANT. THEREFORE, CLOSED CAPTIONING IS REQUIRED. HOWEVER, IT CAN BE ACCOMPLISHED IN-HOUSE OR SUB CONTRACT QUESTION 7: Could you please provide additional information on quantities of videos? ANSWER: A MIXTURE OF DVDS, VHS, AND DVCPRO AND DVCAM. EXPECT QUANTITIES TO BE FROM 500 TO 800 COPIES QUESTION 8: Does the government envision that the Marketing Director and Audio Visual Specialist to work exclusively on-site ANSWER: YES QUESTION 9: Is it possible for the Program Manager and/or the Audio Visual Specialist to work off-site ANSWER: THE PROGRAM MANAGER IS NOT REQUIRED FOR ON SITE, HOWEVER, THE AUDIO VISUAL SPECIALIST IS REQUIRED ON SITE QUESTION10: Does the Government envision any other contractors on-site? ANSWER: YES, THE MARKETING DIRECTOR AND THE AUDIO VISUAL SPECIALIST ARE REQUIRED TO BE ON SITE QUESTION 11: Would the Audio Visual Specialist produce marketing material exclusively? ANSWER: NO, THE AUDIO VISUAL SPECIALIST WILL PRIMARLY PRODUCE RADIO AND TELVISION NEWS RELEASES QUESTION 12: Would the Government please consider extending the due date for proposals by one week to provide reasonable time to prepare bids? ANSWER: NO, DUE TO OUR TIME CONSTRAINTS, THE DUE DATE CANNOT BE EXTENDED NO ADDITIONAL QUESTIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED
