Description

The Government intends to award a Cable Television Services Contract at Keesler AFB MS. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items necessary to provide and maintain cable television services at Keesler AFB MS. Programming shall be provided on a 24-hour, 7-day a week basis. Cable television services are currently being provided at the Keesler Medical Center, 164 outlets in Dormitory Dayrooms and Individual Viewing Areas, 1915 outlets for the BOQ and other Close Cluster Housing, 52 outlets in Temporary Lodging Quarters (family type), 2 outlets with Premium Services, and 3 Decoders. All subscription services must be provided in accordance with a non-exclusive franchise agreement which must be executed in whole prior to 01 Oct 06. The period of performance for this contract is 01 Oct 06 through 30 Sep 07. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 515210 with a small business size standard of $12,500,000. This acquisition will be accomplished using commercial procedures in accordance with Federal Acquisition Part 12 and Part 13.5. The solicitation will be issued electronically on or about 05 Sep 06 via the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website at http://www.eps.gov. All interested parties must download the solicitation from http://www.eps.gov as hard copies are not available for mailing. This notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract, it does not restrict the Government?s ultimate approach, nor does it obligate the Government to pay for any proposal preparation cost.
