Description
Under Statutory Authority 38 U.S.C. 8153 Enhanced Health Care Resources with a Commercial Items format of terms, conditions, and provisions/clauses, VA Minneapolis, MN has a requirement for a contractor to provide Mammography Services off site to both male and female veterans. Minneapolis VA currently refers between 600-700 mammograms per year to a contract provider. The majority of these are screening mammograms with about four diagnostic bilateral mammograms per week. Evaluation of proposals will be based on: 1) Facility accreditation; 2) Clinical skills; 3) Turn-around-time of Reports/findings/results; 4) Collaborative skills; 5) Patient Convenience; 6) List Make/Model of equipment used at facilities. If digital equipment is used please describe process for dense breasts and for large breasts; 7) Past performance; Recent and current related experience; and 8) Price. NAICS Code 621111 applies for this procurement and the small business size standard is $9.0 million. Contract is for one-year period with options to renew for two additional twelve-month periods.
