Description

The United States Patent& Trademard Office (USPTO) intends to procure Crossbeam Application Processor Modules (APMs). USPTO?s current firewall configuration includes Crossbeam X-80 Series chassis, which utilize multiple APMs to run firewall and IDS applications. The CSB-APM-8400-2P4-2G and CSB-APM-8400-1P4-1G APMs being ordered are APM blades that will be utilized in USPTOs existing Crossbeam X-80 chassis to enhance and expand current Firewall capability. Crossbeam is the only manufacture for APMs that will fit-in and run with the CrossbeamX-80 chassis. The requirements are: 1. (Part#apm-8400-2p4-2g)CrossBeam APM-8400 Dual Pentium 4 Zeon CPU w/2GB RAM Module (QTY 4) 2. (Part#apm-8400-1p4-1g)CrossBeam Single Pentium 4 Zeon CPU s/1GB RAM Module (QTY 6) This announcement is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items in accordance with FAR Subpart 12.6 and in conjunction with FAR 13.5. This solicitation is issued for quotation (RFQ) and no written solicitation will be issued. All responses to this solicitation MUST be received by email no later than 2:00 pm(EST), September 6, 2006 to connie.lum@uspto.gov at the United States Patent and Trademark Office, Office of Procurement, Madison East, Room 7D48, P.
