Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will be issued upon request. Upon request (by e-mail) a written solicitation, to include the PWS, will be sent by e-mail. (See below) The solicitation number is R1WH17000607 and is issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP). This solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 05-11. This solicitation is unrestricted. The associated NAICS code is 518210 and the small business size standard is 750 employees. Description of Work: Laser Scanning of the USS San Antonio ship board space and associated vehicles and cargo. This acquisition will provide the US Navy with precise three dimensional (3D) computer models of selected locations onboard the San Antonio (LPD-17), selected vehicles and cargo elements. This will provide the capability to verify various loading configurations and procedures which will enhance the Navy?s capabilities and efficiencies in pre-planning the loading and unloading of the vessel. All interested offerors can request a copy of the PWS/Solicitation and/or questions from the Contracting Officer Doug Punzel (617-565-5769) at Douglas.Punzel@gsa.gov and Jim Fahey (617-565-5170) at James.Fahey@gsa.gov The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instruction to Offerors Commercial Items (Jan 2006)* applies to this acquisition and is incorporated by reference. (*(c) Period for acceptance of offers). The offeror agrees to hold the prices in its offer firm for 60 calendar days from the date specified for receipt of offers, unless another time period is specified in an addendum to the solicitation.) The provision at FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation Commercial Items (Jan 1999) applies to this solicitation. Award will be made in accordance with the evaluation factors for award contained in the solicitation. Only one award will be made in response to this solicitation. Multiple awards will not be made. Offerors shall include a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items (Jun 2006), with its offer and/or verify by the ORCA website. The clause at FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items (Sep 2005), applies to this acquisition. The clause at 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items (Jun 2006), applies to this acquisition. The following additional clauses are incorporated by reference to implement provisions of law or executive orders applicable to acquisitions of commercial items or components:
