Description

Sole Source. The United States Army Contracting AgencySouthern Region, Yuma Directorate, Yuma Proving Ground (USAYPG), Arizona. Intends to negotiate a firm fixed price contract on a sole source basis with Sensis Corporation, 85 Collamer Crossings, East Syracuse, NY 13057-1101. This contract will be for the purchase of (1) Multistatic Dependent Surveillance (MDS) system, which is certified by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). Acquiring these items from Sensis Corporation will allow for th e detection of aircraft at ground level increasing the margin of safety. Award of this requirement will be in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items. Interested persons may identify their interest an d capability to respond to the requirements or submit proposals. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. If you fell that your firm possesses the ability to provide these services, then you must respond by September 5, 2006, 4:0 0 p.m. MST. E-mail your response demonstrating your firms experience and capability of providing this requirement to Samuel Colton at Samuel.Colton@yuma.army.mil. In order to protect proprietary information and prevent the unintentional releasing of guard ed information all interested firms must conduct their own research regarding the specifications of the above listed item. See Note 22 with the exception that the time period for the receipt of proposals for consideration is 7 days instead of 45 days.
