Description
NAICS Code: 541990 The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's Climate Change Division (CCD) is soliciting potential offerors, in order to competitively award a fixed-price Purchase Order. The Climate Change Division (CCD) in the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) Office of Air and Radiation works to assess and address global climate change and the associated risks to human health and the environment. CCD plays a key role in U.S. and international efforts to address climate change by developing the official annual greenhouse gas inventory for the United States. The National Inventory Report (NIR) produced annually by CCD conforms to the UNFCCC standards of transparency, accuracy, consistency, comparability, and completeness. Under this FAR Part 13 acquisition, the contractor shall support the EPA in evaluating and improving upon existing greenhouse gas emission inventory communication products related to the annual NIR submitted to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC). The estimated level of effort for this requirement is 330 hours, and the tentative period of performance is date of award through April 16, 2007.
