Description
The Government has a services requirement to provide Demolition of buildings (90919, 90920,90921,90923 and 90924 and Lead-Based paint removal and Asbestos Abatement/Removal in buildings (90920, 90921 and 90923). The contractor shall furnish all labor, material, tools, supervision and equipment and perform all operations necessary to accomplish all work complete in place, as needed to demolish buildings 90919, 90920, 90921, 90923 and 90924. The work to be performed includes, but is not necessarily limited to, the following principal features: 1. Removal of Lead Based Paint (LBP) on exterior of 90920, 90921 and 90923. 2. Abatement of asbestos containing materials (ACM) has been identified in 90920, 90921 and 90923. 3. Hazardous material shall be disposed of in accordance with all Federal, State and local laws and regulations. 4. All five facilities shall be demolished in their entirety, to include all foundation materials. 5. Open area between 90920, 90921 and 90923 has been identified as having ACM in various locations. These areas will have to be removed to a depth of 6?, and properly disposed of as hazardous material. 6. All demolished materials not hazardous material, shall be removed from Hurlburt Field and disposed of at a licensed C& D landfill. 7. Contractor shall backfill and seed all disturbed areas once demolition is complete. This is 100% set-aside for small business. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 238910, with a dollar standard of $13,000,000.00; the SIC code is 1795. The contract will be a single award, Firm-Fixed-Price type contract. The issuance date for this solicitation is projected to be on/about 28 Aug 06 and close on/about 13 Sep 06. A site visit will be scheduled, the exact date, time and location will be included in the solicitation, but it is expected to be on/about 6 Sep 06. Prospective contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration Database prior to award of a government contract. Offerors are further advised that failure to register in the DOD Central Registration Database will render your firm ineligible for award. Registration requires applicants to have a DUNS number.
