Description

The VA VISN 22 Network 22 Logistics Office, Long Beach California intends to negotiate a commercial (FAR Part 12) sole source procurement with Harvard Medical School, under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-12. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. A justification for other than full and open competition has been prepared in support of this acquisition. This procurement is to obtain Pilot Testing & Validation of Changes to the Minimum Data Set (MDS) for VA Nursing Homes SDR 03-217 for the VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System, Research and Development, (151), located at 11301 Wilshire Blvd. Los Angeles, CA 90073 as a joint project with Presidents and Fellows of Harvard University Sponsored Programs Administrator 25 Shattuck Street, Boston, MA 02115. The NAICS Code is 611710 and the small business size standard is considered 6M employees. Request for Quotation is RFQ 600-744-06IM. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. All proposals received by 4:00 P.M. Pacific Daylight Time, August 30, 2006, will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
