Description: The announcement previously submitted on August 23, 2006 is replaced with the following: (i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 12.6, and supplemental information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) The reference number for this effort is W912ES-06-T-0061 and the solicitation is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). (iii) The provisions and clauses incorporated into this soli citation document are those in effect at the time of publication. Provisions and clauses incorporated by reference have the same force and effect as if they were given in full text. The full text of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Fe deral Acquisition Regulations supplement (DFARs) can be accessed on the Internet at http://farsite.hill.af.mil/ (iv) This solicitation is set-aside 100% for small business concerns. The associated NAICS code is 454319 and the small business size standar d is six million dollars. (v) This requirement consists of 1 line item (0001 36,000 GALLONS #2 DIESEL FUEL FOR DREDGE FLEET/EQUIPMENT TO BE DELIVERED TO THE DREDGE WILLIAM A. THOMPSON, LOCK AND DAM 14, ROCK ISLAND SERVICE BASE, LECLAIRE BASE, PLEASANT VA LLEY IA 52767 ON SEPTEMBER 5, 2006. (vi) Work to be completed under this purchase order will consist of the following: The offeror shall deliver 36,000 gallons of #2 diesel fuel to the Dredge William A. Thompson on September 5, 2006. Offeror shall be ca pable of delivery within 48 hours of award. Offeror shall be capable of transporting and delivering fuel in compliance with 49 CFR Parts 40 and 382. (vii) Deliverables and acceptance of deliverables will be FOB destination, Dredge William A. Thompson. T he completion date for this requirement is September 5, 2006. (viii) The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors Commercial Items, applies to this solicitation. (ix) The provisions at 52.212-3 Alt. I, Offeror Representations and Certifications Com mercial Items, 52.219-1 Alt.
