Description
The purpose of this amendment is to answer some additional questions that were received. The solicitation closing time and date will remain the same. Question: The 5-Year 24x7x4 Support. Is that 4-hour response time or the system will be put back into service with in 4-hours? Answer: 4 hour response time. Question: Also in the 4 & 5th year if the systems fails and replacement parts are no longer available would you accept or consider replacement of the entire unit with a New Unit? Answer: The offeror needs to determine how they will provide the required support. Question: On the 2U Rack Servers do you want them to be Fix Mounted or with Sliding Rails? Sliding Rails. Question: This solicitation contains a requirement for 6 internal hard drives. Would it be acceptable to quote a server and separate array to accomodate that number of drives, considering that we would maintain the 2U size requirement? (server 1U and array 1U). Answer: Yes, please provide your server specifications with your quotation. Question: CLIN 0005 Qty 16: 10 ft KVM cables. Do those need to be USB or PS/2 ends? Answer: The 10ft KVM cables are required to connect to the 3 KVM 16 port switches that the vendor is also bidding on in this requirement. The vendor will need to identify what kind of connection that the switches that they are offering require ? USB or PS/2 ends. In the specs for the server, we have listed one USB or PCMCIA slot. If the vendor is offering the above equipment with USB connections, they must keep in mind that this slot is in addition to any USB slots that will be needed by the KVM switches. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (24-AUG-2006); HOWEVER, IT DID APPEAR IN THE FEDBIZOPPS FTP FEED ON THIS DATE. PLEASE CONTACT fbo.support@gsa.gov REGARDING THIS ISSUE.
