Description

Sole Source Synopsis The U.S. Army Yuma Proving Ground (USAYPG), Yuma, AZ intends to negotiate a fixed price contract for cafeteria services of transient military personnel on a sole source basis with the Directorate of Morale, Welfare and Recreation (MWR) Cactus Caf?, located at USAYPG, Bldg 451 Flame Avenue, Yuma, AZ 85365. The period of performance will be from September 21, 2006 through November 6, 2006. USAYPG is in a remote area, located approximately twenty-six (26) miles from the city of Yuma and MWR has the only food s ervice facilities available within a reasonable commuting distance. Pursuant to FAR Part 12 and 13, this acquisition will be made utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code is 722110 w ith a size standard of six million dollars ($6,500,000.00). THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS AND NO SOLICITATION WILL BE ISSUED. If you feel that your firm possesses the ability to provide this service, interested parties ma y submit technical literature showing their capability of meeting the Governments requirement by 1 September 2006, 12:00PM noon MST.
