Description

The Naval Air Warfare Center, Aircraft Division (NAWC-AD), Patuxent River, Maryland intends to contract on a SOLE SOURCE basis with Innovative Solutions and Support (ISS) of Exton PA for a quantity of four (4)Air Data Display Units (ADDU) to support the existing Traffic Alert and Collision Avoidance System (TCAS) system installation in the Royal Norwegian Air Force (RNoAF) P3N aircraft. The IS&S ADDU is currently in service in the (CNS/ATM) on the US Navy P-3C aircraft and has the digital outputs required by the TCAS system. The RNoAF will upgrade their P3N aircraft to Communication Navigation Surveillance /Air Traffic Management (CNS/ATM). By installing the IS&S ADDUs, future upgrades to CNS/ATM configuration are possible. The required delivery date for these units is November 2006. The estimated value of this procurement is less than $117,000. No solicitation is available for competitive bidding; however, interested parties may submit a statement of capability for satisfying this requirement, to include descriptive literature, by 3:30 p.m. EST 05 Sept 2006, to the contact person listed above.
