- The National Institutes of Health (NIH), National Institute of Child and Human Development (NICHD) has a requirement to procure the services of a Project Manager. Only a partial amount of the duties, experience, knowledge and skills are being provided in this synopsis, the rest will be stated in the Statement of Work that will be included in the Request for Quote (RFQ) package. The following are required: Assist Project Officer with the planning and development of support services; Tracks progress against existing plans and provides periodic status reports; Oversees accounting of all expenditures; Assist Project Officer in assignments of facilities space; Accounting Degree with related work experience. Ability to build accounting systems to monitor expenditure; Project Management experience with a minimum of 5 years of senior level project management in a Perinatal research setting; Juris Doctorate degree with experience in contract negotiation and management; 5 years or more of work experience in the ethical and regulatory aspects of clinical research in Obstetrics and Gynecology. The contractor will work at the administrative offices in Detroit, MI and will work approximately 50 hours per week. This service will be for a Base Year plus four (4) option years. All interested small vendors that are capable of providing the Government with the service described above may request a copy of the Request for Quote (RFQ) in writing by FAX to 301-480-8502 to the Contracting Office prior to the closing date of this notice. It is anticipated that RFQ NIH-NIDDK-06-861 will be available fifteen (15) days after the publication date of this synopsis. Receipt of quotations will be due ten (10) days after the release of the RFQ. The anticipated award date is September 20, 2006. Quotations must be submitted in writing to the National Institutes of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases 6707 Democracy Blvd., Room 775, Bethesda, Maryland 20817 Attention: Patricia Haun. FAXED quotations must contain offerors names, address, telephone number and fax number. FAX quotations will only be accepted if dated and signed by an authorized company representative.
