Description

The Pine Bluff Arsenal has need for 1000 ea material handling pallets,hardwood, post construction, 4 way entry, style 1, class 1, size A, Spec MIL-P-15011J dtd 16 Sep 85, except that the gap between the deckboards at center of pallet shall be 1 inch minimum, 1-1/2 inch maximum and the gap shall be located at the center of the pallet +/- 1/2 inch to accommodate strapping. Pallet shall be constructed from heat treated, HT to 56 degrees Centigrade for 30 minutes, material and certified by an accredited a gency recognized by the American Lumber Standards Committee, ALSC, IAW Non manufactured wood Packing Policy and Non-manufactured Wood Packing Enforcement Regulatons dated 30 May 2001. ECP R1K3002 dtd 16 Aug 2001 applies. Pallet shall be preservative trea ted IAW MIL-P-15011J para 3.2.1.3 and identification marking IAW PARA 3.4.1. Marking shall be placed on outside of center post in letters 1 inch minimum height. The proposed acquisition and the resultant award are being processed in accordance with simpl ified acquisition procedures and is 100% set-asside for small business concerns. The NAICS code is 321920, the small business size is 500 employees. a request for quotation package will be issued for this proposed acquisition.
