Description

00HCTCD1-2006-34916 The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) intends to award, on a sole source basis, a purchase order to Mr. Paul Cooper, 323 9th Street NE, Washington DC 2002-6115. The authority for this sole source procurement is FAR 13.106-1. Mr. Paul Cooper will provide all materials and labor required to revise the CDC Strategic Plan for Public-Private Fire Safety Collaboration. Mr. Cooper services were utilized to publish the original strategic plan, as well as, the last three modifications. The requested service is a continuation of CDC process, analytical methods, and on-going study. These services will be acquired from Mr. Paul Cooper to maintain a continuity of effort, or match existing and continuous work being performed at the CDC. This is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation is available. Firms that believe they can provide these services are encouraged to identify themselves and give written notification to the Contracting Officer within 5 days of the publication date of this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining to conduct a competitive procurement.
