Description

This purposed contract action is for services which the Government intends to solicit with only one source in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 and using FAR part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items. The Department of Defense Education Activity intends to award a Sole Source, Requirements type contract to DLT Solutions for leased site licenses of the Autodesk Design Academy (ADA) and the Autodesk Animation Academy (AAA). The ADA shall include Architectural Desktop, AutoCAD Revit Series, Inventor Professional, Civil 3D, VIZ, DWF Composer, and Project Based Curriculum. The AAA shall include 3D Studio Max, and Project Based Curriculum. The annual leased site licenses for both ADA and AAA shall include software, technical support, product updates and upgrades, documentation and project-based curriculum materials, and any associated shipping cost. Since DoDEA is unique in the sense that it is both a federal government agency and an educational system, DLT is authorized to sell to DoDEA. Performance period is from date of award through August 2007 for the base period with 2-12-month option periods. This notice is not a request for competitive quotations. Capability statements must be received by the response date and time of this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
