- The Southern Region Contracting Center-East, Fort McPherson, Georgia intends to solicit quotes in response to Request for Quote (RFQ) to provide furnished apartments for Fort McPherson, GA. This is an unrestricted synopsis for commercial services in accordance with FAR Part 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This procurement is SUBJECT TO THE AVAILABILITY OF FUNDS. The associated NAICS code is 531110 with a standard size of $6M and a SIC code of 6513. Offerors must propose a fixed rate for sixty-eight (68) one-bedroom/one-bath and twenty (20) two-bedroom/two-bath furnished apartments. A third of the apartments must be available for occupancy by October 1, 2006, the second third by October 21, 2006, with the la st third available November 1, 2006 for a 12-month period from 1 October 2006 to 30 September 2007. Option period will be from 1 October 2007 30 September 2008. The facility shall be located south of I-285 and along the I-75S corridor between exits 238 and 224. Apartment size shall be between 700 to 900 Square feet. Gated entry and exit is preferred. All units shall be located within no more than 3 complexes within the required distance. Request offerors price out one-bedroom/one-bath apartments duri ng the specified time frame. All units shall include: Electricity, Basic Phone, Basic Cable, Water, Sewage Removal, Furnishing including linen wares and house wares. *Furnishing including linen wares and house wares shall be replaced, as needed, to ensure safety, security, and sanit ation standards are met. *All units shall have basic phone service only. The apartment complex will notify the phone company that the intended leased apartments phone lines shall have NO long distance access (without a calling card) and will NOT have any additional options (i.e.; call waiting, caller ID). *All units shall have basic cable only. The apartment complex shall notify the cable company to block any and all pay-per-view or package upgrades on intended leased apartments unless tenant pre-pays with their own personal credit card. *All utility charges shall be included in rent cost. Utility charges shall be an average cost. The apartment complex shall have on site management with specified office hours as well as 24-hour emergency maintenance. Government will not be made to sign a lease. Offerors are encouraged to clearly identify any additional service/amenities offered in additional to the minimum requirements listed above.
