- Description
- The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) plans to make an award to Brinkmann Instruments (Brinkmann) to procure a Titrando Titration System Model 809 and necessary operations parts. Metrohm Limited manufactures the system and Brinkmann is Metrohm only distributor in the United States that can provide the system. FHWA requires this system to perform chloride test on steel and concrete bridges. Because Brinkmann is the only Small Business distributor of the required system in the United States no other known source is available to provide the system. This is a Simplified Acquisition and the anticipated award date is on or about September 1, 2006.
