Description

The All Terrain Lifter, Army System (ATLAS II) program is changed as follows: 1) The estimated date for issuance of solicitation W56HZV-06-R-0467 is changed to May 31, 2006. 2) The estimated closing date for receipt of proposals is changed to July 31, 2006. 3) The estimated contract award date is now October 23, 2006. 4) The Multi-year contract is reduced by one year from 5 years to 4 years. 5) The estimated quantity of ATLAS II vehicles to be purchased over the 4 years is 472. 6) Offerors who submit a proposal are now required to also submit a demonstration test vehicle to Aberdeen Test Center, MD no later than 15 days after the date set for receipt of proposals. The government will conduct various non-destructive tests on the offeror's vehicle. 7) Offerors interested in the ATLAS II program must visit the ATLAS II website to receive the latest information/updates on the program.
