Description

Provide Water Treatment Chemicals for VA Medical Center, Minneapolis, MN for Boilers, Chillers, Cooling Towers, Closed Loop Systems and Once-Through Well Water Cooling Systems. Provide all product, labor, testing equipment and training associated with product to maintain systems and ensure a predictive, preventive maintenance water treatment program; to include computerized program for tracking system needs for the period of 10/1/06 through 9/30/07 with an option for two (2) additional 12-month periods. Procurement is being made in accordance with FAR part 12 Commercial Item and, FAR part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The solicitation is scheduled to be issued on or about August 14, 2006 and will be issued via Fed Biz Opps Electronic Posting System at http://www.fedbizopps.gov with proposals due by 3:30 P.M. September 1, 2006. Offerors are responsible for checking the web site regularly to obtain amendments. Questions regarding this solicitation must be in writing and may be sent by email to: Ken.Eshom@med.va.gov or by fax to 612-725-2072. Proposals must be submitted in writing to the issuing office, be in accordance with the preparation instructions outlined in the solicitation, and be timely. No web based offers will be accepted.
